- Select a theme from the theme gallery in the Design tab , or skip to the next step and start over.
- On the Design tab , in the Themes group , click the Colors button .
- From the drop-down menu, select "Create New Theme Colors..." to display the Create Theme Colors dialog.
- Select slide element colors by clicking the color button next to the element you want to change and selecting a new color from the drag-and-drop menu. You can also click " More Colors " to get more custom colors.
- Note: The example to the left of the menu shows a representative image of the different elements on the slide so you can see how well the colors match. The image will change as you choose new colors.
- To start over with the colors you started with, click Restore .
- To save the color palette, enter a name for the palette in the Name field, then click Save . Your palette will be added to the elegant color gallery.
